The Mathematics Department of O’Fallon Township High School believes that the education of the whole student is a prime objective of our educational system. Furthermore, we believe that mathematical literacy, the acquisition of mathematical skills and concepts, and the ability to apply mathematical knowledge using current technology are integral components of a student’s complete education. The transmission to students of mathematical skills and concepts using the latest technology is a primary aspect of the department’s instructional program.

Each student is provided with ample opportunity to learn mathematics to the utmost of his or her ability and desire. As mathematics educators, we diagnose each student’s mathematical abilities, accommodate the student’s individual needs, and strive to motivate each student to grow and to mature as mathematical problem solvers.
