SLU 1818 Advanced College Credit Program

 

Saint Louis University 1818 Advanced College Credit Program is an opportunity for students to jumpstart their academic careers by earning college credit while completing their qualifying high school coursework. IMPORTANT DATES/DEADLINES FOR SPRING 2026

  • The SLU 1818 registration period is August 24 - September 25, 2026

  • September 25 - Deadline to register with SLU

  • September 25 - Last day to drop the dual credit portion of AP Chemistry (removed entirely from transcript; full refund) 

  • November 6 - Last day to drop the dual credit portion of all "yearlong" courses (removed entirely from the SLU transcript; full refund)

  • December 1 - Tuition due (yearlong and fall semester class)

  • January 8 - Last day to withdraw from a yearlong course (with a "W" on transcript; no refund)

 

PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Students register for full-year courses in the fall but do not receive a grade until the end of the academic year.
  • Students taking full year classes will register once and pay once in the fall, however, they will not receive a grade for that class until the end of the term (May).
  • Students are responsible for paying the full tuition of all registered classes unless they "drop" the class before the drop date as listed on our academic calendar.
  • Tuition rates for the 2026-2027 Academic year are $85 per credit hour, which means a 3-credit class will be $255.
  • Any courses that are not dropped by the drop deadline (including withdrawn classes), must be paid for in full if the student wishes to eliminate any of the holds outlined above.

 

INSTRUCTIONS TO PAY YOUR SLU 1818 BILL:

Tuition statements are sent after the registration period closes. If you do not receive a statement, please email the 1818 Program Office at 1818@slu.edu to obtain a digital copy.

HOW TO TRANSFER MY 1818 CREDIT:

To transfer 1818 credits, students must order a SLU transcript and send it to the institution of choice. **STUDENTS should NOT send an official transcript until instructors have submitted their grades to SLU. Students are advised to wait until JUNE 16th to send official transcripts as that is the final day for instructors to submit grades. If you need to share a transcript with your college advisor before grades are posted, you may access your unofficial transcript on your MySLU account.
