O'Fallon Township High School Summer School 2026

 

REGISTRATION

Summer school registration will open on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and will be available on a first-come basis. Please refer to the links under each heading for specifics on registration.

ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY
Current O'Fallon Township High School (OTHS) Students:
  • Students who have completed at one semester of high school coursework during the 2025 - 2026 school year are eligible to enroll in the OTHS Summer School Program.
Non-OTHS students & Incoming Freshmen (Current 8th Graders):
  • Non-OTHS students, including current 8th graders residing within District 203, may enroll in select summer school courses.
  • These students must register with the District and pay a $175 school fee in addition to the applicable instructional fee. To begin the district registration process, contact the OTHS Main Office at mainoffice@oths.us.
Available Courses for Non-OTHS & Incoming Freshmen:
  • Driver Education- Open to homeschool students, non-OTHS students, and current 8th graders residing in District 203.
  • Physical Education- Open to current 8th graders residing in District 203 who plan to attend OTHS in the fall of 2025.
ON-SITE TRADITIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OFFERINGS
On-Site Traditional Summer School - Onsite Summer School Registration Packet -
Location: Smiley Campus 
On-Site courses offered:
  • Co-Ed Physical Education - $150 - 8:00am - 12:15pm
  • Driver Education Classroom with Technology Essentials $250.00 - 8:00am - 12:15pm
  • Driver Education Classroom Only - $250 - 8:00am - 10:00am 
    • Students enrolling in Driver Education Classroom must turn 15 years old by June 30, 2025
    • Illinois State Law states that students must have successfully passed eight (8) courses in the two previous semesters in order to enroll in Driver Education. Proof of completion in the form of an official transcript or report card will be required for Non-OTHS students, including 8th graders. 
    • Behind-The-Wheel is scheduled separately.
  • Note: Students who qualify for Free & Reduced Meal Benefits are eligible for a waiver of OTHS summer school fees. Eligibility is determined through completion of the Household Eligibility Application (HEA).

ON-SITE CREDIT RECOVERY (P.A.C.E) SUMMER SCHOOL OFFERINGS

Credit Recovery On-Site Summer School - Credit Recovery Registration Packet -  
Registration opens on May 1st. Enrollment is first-come, first-served and is only confirmed once all registration forms and payment have been received. Students with incomplete registrations will not be added to class rosters.
Students must be recommended by their school counselor to participate in the OTHS Credit Recovery summer school program. Priority enrollment may be given to those upperclassmen needing credit recovery courses to meet immediate graduation requirements. If you believe your student may benefit from the OTHS credit recovery summer school program, please email schoolcounseling@oths.us.
Start Date: June 1, 2026
  • Students enrolled in Credit Recovery must attend in-person until their coursework is completed and verified by the instructor. Once completed and verified, attendance is no longer required. The final day for course completion is June 26, 2026. Extensions are not permitted.
Location: Smiley Campus 
  • Session One: 8:00am - 10:00am
  • Session Two: 10:15am - 12:15pm 

Credit Recovery Course Fee: $75 per course

ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL (ILLINOIS VIRTUAL SCHOOLS & ACADEMY)

Per the OTHS Student Handbook, students must have completed their freshmen year at OTHS to be eligible to enroll in IVSA coursework. 
IVSA Full-Service Course Fee: $300 per course
IVSA Credit Recovery Course Fee: $190 per course     
Registration and Enrollment Instructions: Students must complete the OTHS IVSA Registration Form and turn it in to the School Counseling Office. Once the form and payment are received, the Counseling office staff will email confirmation along with instructions for creating an IVSA student account. After the account is created, OTHS will enroll the student in their IVSA courses.
