OTHS Rocket League takes Sectional Championship (4/26/25)

Sectional Championship Alert!!!

Our Esports teams took on some of regions best today in sectional competitions. We competed in 5 events and took home 4th place in Mariokart just missing out on advancing to IHSA state finals.

However, our Rocket League squad dominated today and didn’t drop a single match. Going undefeated on the day, they earned a Sectional Championship and a berth into the IHSA State Championship!!!

Congrats to Sebastian, Carson, Jacob, Josiah and Coach Cox on the big win!

 

OTHS E- Sports Crowns a 2024 MarioKart Champion

Congrats to Lucas K. on becoming the first ever OTHS Mariokart Champion! There was some stiff competition throughout the entire tournament to take the title. Will K., Tony S. and Kian S. rounded out the finals taking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectfully. It was a hard fought battle and that showed some great sportsmanship.
