New Students to District 203

Welcome to O'Fallon District #203

Parents of a New Student to the District must:

  1. Contact the OTHS Smiley Campus at 618-632-3507 or email mainofficesmiley@oths.us for registration materials.
  2. Provide proof of 8th-grade graduation if the student is an incoming freshman (final report card showing promotion, diploma, or a letter from the school stating the student was promoted).
  3. Provide an unofficial transcript if the student is a sophomore, junior or senior.  If unable to get one from a previous school, please come to the OTHS Main Office before registration and complete a form to request records.
  4. Provide a copy of the student's state-issued CERTIFIED birth certificate.
  5. Provide copies of proof of residency. One copy of documentation from both Column A and Column B is required (see chart below).
  6. Email completed forms and documents to mainofficesmiley@oths.us.  After receiving the forms, the parent will receive a call from guidance to arrange a time to create the student's schedule.
  7. See the Walk-Through schedule dates to view the building, pay fees, take an ID picture, and pick up technology if needed

Current property tax receipt/bill

*Falsifying residency information for the purpose of a child attending school in a district is a Class C misdemeanor. Scheduled students found to be living outside of the district will be dropped.

  • If you plan on using a lease to register your student, please ensure the lease reflects that you are a resident during the upcoming school year.
  • If you have a "rollover" lease, your landlord must provide, on legal letterhead, a typed, signed letter confirming your residence for the upcoming school year.  Landlords should include their names and current phone number.
