• Summer 2023 Office Hours:

    The Smiley Campus Guidance Department will hold summer office hours as detailed below:

    • May 23rd - June 16th between the hours of 7:15 am - 3:15 pm
    • August 1st - August 11th: 7:15 - 3:15 except for Walk-Through Dates as listed below.
    • All other dates are by appointment only.
    • Questions may be directed to guidance@oths.us 
    • Schedule Changes may be submitted to schedulechange@oths.us 
    • The Milburn Campus Guidance Department will be closed for the summer and will reopen August 1, 2023.

    New Students to the District: New students in the district will meet with an OTHS school counselor to select courses by appointment only. Families new to the district should contact the OTHS Main Office at 618-632-3507 for new student registration information. Once students have successfully completed new student registration paperwork, families will be contacted to schedule a new student course selection meeting with an OTHS School Counselor. 

    Current Students - Schedule Changes:

    • Requests for schedule changes should be submitted via email to schedulechange@oths.us
    • Response time may be delayed but will be received and answered within 5-7 business days.
    • Final fall schedules will be available for viewing in Skyward in late July 2023. Schedules will not be printed.
    • The following schedule change requests are not allowed per the OTHS Student Handbook:
      • Request to change lunch/advisory period (requests are only accepted due to medical necessity and accompanied with a physician’s note)
      • Request to change assigned teacher

    District Walk-Through Dates and Times:

    Smiley and Milburn campuses will be open on the dates and times listed below for students to take ID photos, pay fees, place money on lunch accounts, purchase parking permits, pick up electronic devices, meet with OTHS School Counselors for schedule changes, and walk-through the buildings to locate classrooms or lockers.

    • Wednesday, Aug. 2nd:  7:30 am – 2:30 pm
    • Thursday, Aug. 3rd: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm 
    • Wednesday, Aug. 9th: 7:30 am – 2:30 pm 
    • Thursday, Aug. 10th: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm 
    • Friday, August 11th:  7:30 am – 2:30 pm

    The primary mission of O'Fallon Township High School Guidance Department is to help each and every student reach their full potential as citizens capable of meeting the challenges of a changing society. The Guidance Department Staff will strive to meet the academic, personal/social, and career needs of our students by working collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents and community members. The counselors will create a school climate and counseling program that serves all students. The program will model and encourage the positive behaviors, skills and knowledge needed for students to become independent lifelong learners.
