Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Club: 

The purpose of this club is to create opportunities to discuss and integrate African-American history and culture throughout the OTHS and Metro-East community. The members of the MLK Legacy Club will develop an annual calendar of events highlighting contributions of African Americans. On a monthly basis, the team will inform and educate our community on specific aspects of African American Culture and its contributions to our collective American history. In addition, the club will support and promote community activities that highlight its diversity and give back to the community through service opportunities as well. The club is open to all students who have an interest in promoting positive images of African Americans through our school and community and are expected to participate and help with this effort.
