OTHS Parents/Guardians and Teachers,
OTHS will host a Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee (P-TAC) meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the Smiley Campus IMC from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
The District is looking for parent and teacher volunteers to serve and participate on the committee this year. P-TAC typically meets annually, with the meeting lasting approximately 90 minutes. P-TAC is a sub-committee of the Education Committee of the Board of Education.
If your schedule does not allow you to serve on the committee, we want you to know that your input is still extremely valuable to us. We ask all parents/guardians and teachers to take a few minutes to click on the link below and to complete the 10-minute survey. Please complete the survey by 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, 2022 so we are able to compile the information in advance of the P-TAC meeting. For those who are selected to serve on the committee, you will be notified on Monday, May 8th and the formal agenda with related materials will be emailed to you on Friday, May 12, 2023. This will provide you time to preview the information in advance of the P-TAC meeting.

- Review the Student Handbook FY 2023-2024 and Related Policies including, but not limited to:
- Illegal Substance Use
- Vaping
- Fighting/Violence
- Review the Special Education Handbook and Related Behavioral Interventions and Discipline
- Feedback/Input on Academic, Extracurricular, and Social-Emotional Programming at OTHS
- School Safety
