Jerrica Asbeck - English

My name is Jerrica Asbeck. I graduated from Collinsville High School in 2021 and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in English. I love books! You’ll almost always catch me reading something new and I never pass up a book recommendation. I’m super excited to get to teach at both the Smiley and Milburn campus this year. I can’t wait to jump into it and help students connect with books the same way I do!

Kourtne Boose - Special Education

I am excited to begin a new chapter in my journey as an educator. Entering my 17th year in education, I am thrilled to be joining the O'Fallon Township High School community as a special education teacher.

It is incredibly important to me to find the right instructional approach and supports to help each student become the most successful version of themselves. Every learner is unique and I'm passionate about creating moments where students discover their own strengths and potential.

OTHS has a wonderful reputation as a supportive school community and I can't wait to part of that culture. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me reading a good book or spending time with my niece and nephew.

I'm incredibly grateful for the privilege and opportunity to work at OTHS and with my students.

Tarah Rottman - Social Worker

Hello!
My name is Tarah Rottmann, and I am excited to join O’Fallon Township High School as the new school social worker serving the Milburn Campus, OTHS South, and the Transition House.

I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Master’s in Educational Administration and Leadership from McKendree University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Registered Play Therapist. I previously worked as a middle school social worker in Highland CUSD and at the therapeutic public day school within Alton CUSD. I also completed my school social work practicum here at OTHS and am grateful for the opportunity to return in this new role.

My path to school social work began after eight years as a police dispatcher, where I developed a passion for supporting individuals in crisis. That experience inspired me to pursue my MSW and ultimately a career in school social work. This field has allowed me to support a wide range of students and families, and I’m deeply committed to making a meaningful impact on their social-emotional development and overall well-being. Building relationships and helping students overcome barriers to success is truly my passion.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. We love traveling, camping, and spending our time at various sporting events.

I’m thrilled to be back at OTHS and look forward to a great year ahead!

Jennifer Schuette - CTE Business

I am very excited to be back at OTHS! I was born and raised in this wonderful community. After graduating from OTHS, I attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. While at Illinois College, I studied business; ran cross country; participated in a women's literary society; and held leadership positions in numerous extracurricular activities. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and minors in Business Administration and Psychology. After college, I worked at AT&T for over 22 years before deciding to pivot my career into education. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and sometimes life takes you on a journey to right where you belong! I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Education at McKendree. I reside in Okawville with my husband, 11-year-old daughter, and 19-year-old son who attends Lindenwood University in St. Charles. I also have 3 stepdaughters who live in the area with their spouses and children.

Kaitlin Trame - Speech Pathologist

I graduated from Maryville University in 2023 with my Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I continued on at Maryville and just graduated in May 2025 with my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I am excited to start my career at OTHS due to it's commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive. I am looking forward to my first year!
