  • Threads club will meet Friday, 8 December at 3pm in Smiley IMC...POC Mr. Sewell (Expires 12/8/23)

 

  • Camera Club will meet at 3pm in 608 Smiley today, Wednesday December 6th, to discuss the Holiday Pizza Party and to develop film. Mr. Brooks (Expires 12/6/23)

 

  • All boys interested in Track and Field for the spring season should plan to attend an informational meeting, Tuesday December 12th, after school in Smiley Room 906. Freshmen may ride the activity bus to attend the meeting. If you can't attend the meeting email Coach Speaks for information. (Expires 12/11/23)

 

  • The MLK Club is proud to announce two upcoming events!

    On Thursday, December 7, 2023 we are hosting our first OWL event. OWL stands for Our Way of Learning. This initiative is designed to encourage students to study together as they prepare for finals. Our first event this Thursday, December 7, 2023 will be held in the cafeteria from 3:15pm to 4:30pm. We will provide food/snacks and prizes for those who participate. Come join us as we provide new opportunities to study. We are partnering with Ms. Schroeder and the AAC and look to partner with other clubs as well to promote a positive environment as you prepare for your final exams. All are welcome, this is about studying in groups. Come with friends and create new partnerships to study.

    Our second event this week is our annual Kwanzaa celebration and Soul Food Dinner. Join us on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 5-6:30pm and learn about this African American culture event celebrating community. Food, culture and dancing!

  • Attention Gold Rush: TONIGHT is the first home Boys Varsity Basketball game. We hope to see everyone dressed in JERSEYS. Bring your student id to be checked off the Gold Rush members list for free admittance. Mrs. Greene (Expires 12/5/23)

 

  • First Priority Club will meet on Tuesday, 5 December at 3pm in rm 1024 at the Smiley campus. Come and learn why we celebrate Christmas, all are invited...POC Mr. Sewell (Expires 12/5/23)

     

  • Chess Club: We will be meeting on Wednesday, December 6 from 3-4pm in the Smiley cafeteria. ~ Mr. Lands (Expires 12/6/23)

 

  • Hockey Fans!! Come to our next OTHS Hockey Fan Club Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 7th at 3pm in IMC Lab 309. We will be discussing theme nights, ways to rally in the student section, and to see if anyone wants to help with team stats and/or help manage the team.   • Students - Picture retake day is scheduled for Thursday, December 7th at both campuses. Any student or staff member that still needs to get their picture taken, please do so on this day. If you would like to order pictures, the picture access codes for each campus are located on the OTHS website, under Clubs & Activities/Yearbook. Mrs. Coffel (Expires 12/7/23)

 

  • Hey Seniors - have you picked up your Frolics emcee application yet? They are outside room 607 and auditions will be held on December 12th. If you've ever dreamed of being on SNL, this is for YOU! Be sure to pick up your application today! Mr. Prindable 

 

  • Interact Club is collecting school supplies for classrooms now until December 8th! Donations of Tissues, Clorox Wipes, Pencils, Expo dry Erase markers, Post-Its, and more are needed. Ask your teachers for ideas! Let's stock our classrooms so all students have the supplies they need. Interact Club is sponsoring this drive in honor of Maddie Best who aspired to become a teacher and always shared a love of learning. Donations can be dropped in any classroom or to Mrs. Neeley at Milburn Room 1506.
